Women empowerment articles are to help fellow ladies bring out what they have not been able to do for a very long time.

Empowerment means providing greater access to knowledge and resources, greater autonomy in decision making as well as greater ability to plan their freedom from the shackles imposed on them by custom belief and practices.

Women empowerment occurs within sociological, psychological , politico-cultural, familial and economic spheres and at individual, groups and community levels. This is an ongoing dynamic process which enhances women’s abilities to change the structure and ideologies that keep them inferior. It involves capacity building as well as the general creation of awareness. In the process of empowerment women should consider their strength and weaknesses, opportunities and threats moving forward to unfold their own potentials geared towards achieving their goals through self-development . 

In Ghana empowering women through entrepreneurial development has become an integral part of our development due to three important advantages ; Entrepreneurship, economic growth and social stability. These factors come in mind when we talk about women empowerment.

Women empowerment is giving power to women. It is making women become better off, enabling a greater degree of self-confidence and sense of independence among women.

Women empowerment is also a process of acquiring power for women in order to understand their rights and to perform their responsibilities towards oneself and others in the most effective way giving the capacity and power to resist discrimination imposed by the society.

Women empowerment enables women to organize themselves increase their self-reliance providing control over material assets intellectual resources and ideology . It challenges traditional power equations and relations. Abolishing all gender base discrimination in all institutions and structures of society. By so doing, It ensures participation of women in policy and decision-making ,both at domestic and public levels.

Women empowerment means exposing the oppressive powers of existing gender social relations making women more powerful to face the challenges of life, to overcome the disabilities , handicaps, and inequalities. It enables women to realize their full identity and powers in all spheres of life. Women Empowerment itself elaborates that Social Rights, Political Rights, Economic stability, judicial strength and all other rights should also be equal to women. There should be no discrimination between men and women. However having, total independence of their own lives and lifestyle inside the home and also outside their work. They should make their decision, deserving high social respect in society having equal rights in society and other judicial works .They should not be discriminated whilst providing any type of education. They should select their own economic and financial choices. There should not be any gender inequality during job interviews as well as having a safe and secured Working location with healthy working relationship with colleagues.

That is therefore the power of every woman.
